The programme

Two programmes, one agenda

LIBEX Strategic Conference main stage
Main stage

The Strategic Conference

The direction of the sector, from the top.

The main stage of LIBEX: ministerial panels, head-to-head dialogues and investment sessions addressing Libya’s national energy strategy, the licensing round, gas and LNG, financing, infrastructure and the Mediterranean corridor. Delegates hear directly from the most senior representatives of the Ministry of Oil & Gas, the Minister and the Ministry’s top executives, alongside international energy ministers and CEOs of global operators. This is where policy is stated on the record, partnerships are announced and MoUs are signed on stage.

NOC Stage technical session
Technical stage

The NOC Stage

The technical stage. The Corporation, in its own words.

A programme within the programme: two days of strategic and technical sessions led by the National Oil Corporation, with an agenda developed jointly with the NOC’s own departments. The Corporation’s leadership and the general managers of its operating companies present the substance behind the headlines: new discoveries in the Ghadames and Murzuq basins, field redevelopment and production growth, gas monetisation and flaring reduction, downstream rehabilitation and the technical realities of the licensing round. For international companies, this is the closest possible seat to Libya’s operational decision-makers.
